The Forge is a small metals and body adornment school that provides amazing classes and a small metals community to it’s students. Unfortunately though, the small metals community has been slowly diminishing as there are less and less young people involved in this craft. So the challenge is, how to ensure the longevity of the craft of small metals?
The strategy is to appeal and inspire a younger generation by leaning into the very hands on gritty/grunge aspect of metal smithing, embracing the fact that body adornment encompasses many contemporary techniques and most importantly by showing them that small metals can be fun, engaging, and exciting.
